13th ANNUAL ART AUCTION | Auction Results A record number of collectors, donors, and artists packed the galleries of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts last week for the 13th Annual Art Auction. In all, over 1,000 patrons attended the three nights of events. Artist participation was also higher than ever, with 288 international, national and local artists contributing 444 individual pieces for this year's auction. In total, the fundraiser grossed over $442,000 throughout the four-week exhibition and series of events. Every dollar raised will be reinvested back into the Bemis Center, supporting our world-class artist-in-residence program, innovative exhibitions and exciting community arts initiatives. The auction would not be possible without the generous donations from numerous foundations, businesses, individual patrons, members and our board of directors. Also, thank you to the volunteers and Bemis Center staff whose tireless efforts helped make this year's event such a success.
